Board Service Institute
We know that people may have the time and motivation for non-profit board service but might feel reluctant to serve because of a perceived lack of knowledge or experience.
Through Stakeholders training, volunteers learn:
• Legal fiduciary duties of board members
• Financial fiduciary duties of board members
• Development and Fundraising
• Strategic planning/management
Board Match Program
we can help coordinate filling board vacancies and can recommend candidates for board positions according to non-profit needs and the interests and skills of individual candidates.
The Capital Region is fortunate to have highly skilled and volunteer-minded individuals and many well-established non-profit organizations that have a daily need for volunteers. Connecting these two groups is just a part of what the Stakeholders, Inc. seeks to accomplish.
